Please Read Before Booking to avoid misunderstanding..!! We have 3 different options available for you to book.
- Option: Transport and driver only to Kawah Ijen Book transport and driver only if you prefer to go to Kawah Ijen at your own pace without a guide. Explore the volcano on your own without time limitation, our driver will be waiting for you at the parking area, he is not going up to the volcano. Note: The price for this option does not include the entrance fee, gas mask, and medical check.
- Option: Shared Group Tour Book a sharing tour to join a group of 15-20 persons, it is the best option for backpackers and solo travelers. The price of this option includes transport, a local guide for the group, a gas mask, and a medical check-up. As it is a shared group the timeline will depend on the group participants. Pick-up time is not punctual, you can be picked up earlier or later depending on your hotel location (No complaints for late pick-up). Note: This option is unsuitable if you must catch a train/flight/ferry on a tight schedule. We pick up and drop off guest one by one from their hotel, so that will make the pickup and drop off time not punctual. We are not responsible if you miss your train/flight ticket due to late arrival.
- Option: Kawah Ijen Private Tour (Best Seller) Book a private tour If you want to enjoy the crater longer without a time limit and more intimate with a detailed explanation about the volcano and the area, please book a private tour as an option. Bonus visit to coffee and rubber plantation on the way back from Kawah Ijen. Best for couples, family, and friends Note: This option is a private tour, there will be no other guests joining the tour. The tour guide will explain to you all about the area. Best experience guaranteed..!
Itinerary
- Start pick-up from your hotel, our driver will meet you up at the lobby or hotel front area (00.05 AM)
- Stopover at a local hospital to do a medical check-up
- Drive to Paltuding (Kawah Ijen Base) for visitor registration
- Hike Kawah Ijen and descent the crater rim to get to Blue Fire Spot
- Explore Kawah Ijen (Blue Fire, Sunrise, Sulfur Lake, and Meet Sulfur Carrier)
- Walk down back to the Paltuding area
- Drive back to your hotel in Banyuwangi (09.00-10.00 AM)
